Was going through ebay and came across these, just wondering if anyone has used them and had any success, i know you cant beat fresh, but would these do when your hard up??

Re: Preserved Sand Eels???
a lot of people seem to think that the frozen ones are better than the fresh. not sure why but its always frozen ive used. keep them frozen as long as possible. when i buy mine i keep them in a polystirene box with ice packs till i get home(25mins max) and straight into the freezer.wishiniwasfishin wrote:Was going through ebay and came across these, just wondering if anyone has used them and had any success, i know you cant beat fresh, but would these do when your hard up??
i keep a small thermos flask in the freezer and the day before i want to use the sand eels i put them into the flask and back into the freezer.
just take out 1 at a time and make sure the lid is closed tight again. if their defrosted at the end of a session i throw them away but their usually still frozen when i get home so i can use them again.
