tope in sutton???

What's this i hear.. talking to a life guard in sutton he tells me apparently some lads fishing down at the end of the wooden bridge by the statue of our blessed mary,
have been pulling in tope to beat the band????

Any one shine any light on this? im no pro but i didn't think there was any fish like that around there?

He might be mistaken them for tope and were most likely smoothies :shock:

Regardless of whether they were smoothies or tope, I think you posted in the wrong forum.

Your question probably should have been posted in the Shore Angling Q+A forum.

WHY not give then spot a try ,if you have fresh peeler and fresh mackrel you should be able to find out and you might get a few nice fish too,
A BAD DAYS FISHING IS BETTER THAN A GOOD DAY AT WORK .
