barmouth, castlerock 14th

#1 Post by carp angler »

People:myself

Duration:5 hours

Tide:both sides of high

Weather:beautiful

Bait:rag

Rigs:2 hook flappers

Results:1 coalie, 1 weaver fish

Report:thought i'd give the barmouth a go again, was a few anglers spinning or using traces, set up at the end and sat down to admire the sunset, not much was happening with the fish, late on i got the weaver fish, and then an hour later i got the coalie. . .mind i did get pricked by the weaver fish lol i be sure to not let that happen again. the guy beside me on the other hand, a castlerock loacal, got the same as me with the bonus off a small eel

Dangerous spot to fish ...... although at one time it was a very good place to catch bags of flounders.
