Clew bay, ray and huss

#1 Post by seank »

People: Me

Duration:1.40-5.30

Tide: Low water

Weather: Overcast windy

Bait: Mackeral

Rigs: Running ledger

Results: 1 18.5 inch thornie , 1 huss

The fishing was fairly slow with very few bites, i caught the ray around 4 oclock and the bullhuss just before i left. Current very strong in clew bay at the moment so it may have been a factor in where i was fishing because its usually more productive than this. Will upload pics and video tommorow http://www.sea-angling-ireland.org/bull ... e=post&f=3#
Target for 2017: Tope, Bass, Specimen shore pollack, Specimen Sea trout, Turbot over 30cm, common skate
Entries now open for the All Ireland Shore Cod Championships on November 29th hosted by Sea Angling Ireland SAC
