Results:12 collies


Report:fished from 7:30 to 9:30. Best collie to 4lb pounds. was hoping that the collies would move off so i could get a chance of a bass, but no go, anyway good sport.

The fish is coalfish, black pollack or saithe. called glasin(probably spelled wrong) in my area.

Coalie is what you're thinking of, but seeing how much of a nuisance they can be, I reckon Collie ain't a bad name for them! :D

No problems,I knew what you meant just havin a laugh as Tanglerat said.Have caught plenty of Coalfish in my time,the small ones can be a nuisance alright,if they keep cleaning you out of bait!.Good luck on your next fishing trip.
