Pollock fishing

Hi Lads, Was hoping that some of you could help me pls. I am going out for pollock over the weekend. Any good shore marks on the northside of dublin and whats the best plug, spinner to use.

Species 2012: Flounder, Whiting, Dublin Bay Codling, Coalie, 3 Beard Rockling, Shore Rockling, Bass, Dogfish, 5.2lb Starry Smoothhound (PB), Twaite Shad, Thornback Ray 5.8lbs (PB), LSD, Pollock, Ballan Wrasse, Cork Wing Wrasse, 43cm Flounder (PB)

Species 2013: Coalie, East Coast Codling, Smoothounds, And hopefully a back opp to get back fishing soon...

You could try a german spratt,maria chaser or some hokias or jelly eels or sandeel's whipped on the hook
with bait elastic,but i don't know any marks to try but you could ask in the local fishing tackle shop's
hope this helps,oh and you could also try some jelly shads on leadheads,or on a normal hook and lead.

abu garcia toby lures are brilliant for pollack as for on the northside i would try skerries rocks or portrane but your better off goin south for pollack

you could try spinning off the end of howth pier for pollack. they may not be monsters but a fish is a fish

try dun laoghaire pier have had some good ones from there just spinners
if ya cant fish in heaven i dont wanna go!!!!!!!!!

Up at Devils rock at the back of Howth round past Balscadden used to produce some great Pollack and Wrasse .Its a good climb down though so only for sure footed and travel well light.
