Re: pollack recently
Fished the incoming tide yesterday at a rock mark near Ballycotton, used every lure in the box and not a bite. I never blanked there before so I was surprised. I have not been out angling now for a long time so I cant say what the fishing is like in general, but most years around this time I do catch something, even a few mackeral though maybe still a bit early?

Re: pollack recently
I was fising on saturday from the shore down about killybegs, got a pollack round 4lb, on feathers with mackeral strips on them, that was the only pollack I got though, two weeks previous was fishing st johns point and I caught about a dozen small pollack, most if not all on the feathers if memory serves me correct
