Hi Guys,
The girlfriend has booked a house in Wexford for the week after next for her family. I'm due down for 3-4 days (earn browny points) and was thinking of sneaking off for a bit of shore action. We are staying right on the coast in a place called Riverchapel. I've seen the area before and it looks pretty fishy. Anyone know it? Any good? Any other areas near there for a spot of fishing?
Thanks!

Hi, I'm from that neck of the woods but safest option is to call into Joe Byrne in Courtown Angling Centre and he'll point you to wherever is fishing well. You're sandwiched between good spots such as Clone, Kilgorman, Kilpatrick to the North and Roney, Donaghmore, and Ballinoulart to the south. And you're walking distance from Courtown beach also. Hope this helps but Joe is yer man to talk to..
Target Species 2010 :
Sea trout, Bass, everything else is inconsequential...
Species 2010 - Cod, Coalfish, Rockling, Flounder, Whiting, Dabs
