#1 Post by roger de dodger »

People:me

Duration:7 till 12

Tide:full at 10 ish

Weather:nice

Bait:lug rag peeler

Rigs:two hooked clipped and 3 hook flap

Results:4 doggies 3 flounder 6 weever  and tonights dinner 8)

Report:fishing was very slow till dusk just 1 flounder and a few weever till dark then bites galore but not hooking much till i dropped down to size 2 hooks and just head hooked my rag ,just a pan size bass so i dispatched him quickly ,hence he looks a bit under the weather in the pic :| i stuck out a big peeler for most of the session but no smoothies obliged

Well done on the weever roger, a new species for the year? Have mistaken them for small whiting myself when fishing in the dark, now terrified of whiting.

I know your pain stuck my hand into a sandeel net and got a nice stab, bit of blood almost had a panic attack was waiting for the pain to start! Was never as happy to see a tiny mullet with is spikes raised!!! To this day I'm very slow to stick my hand in!

i had a seal out infront of me about 20 minutes before i got the bass if you look at his belly you can see a gash in it,i take it from a seals tooth? upon cleaning him out it was aparent it went right through to his gut,i saved him from a slow agonizing death i,m sure :P
