I had one day off this week, so I decided to move bit in south from east coast. I've planned to catch some mackerel, wchich I need for winter pike fishing. Geared up with some small lures and mac rigs, I landed at Hook Head. Got loads of small pollocks up to 2lb, on lures and rigs but no mack In my way back home, I've found nice location, seems to be perfect for silver fellas so back there on nite 16-17th and officialy opened 2010 bass season with 5 lure fish happy days and nites
