local bass marks and a nice surprise

People:me

Duration:few hours each sesion

Tide:flooding

Weather:balmy

Bait:secret weapon

Rigs:two hook pater

Results:3 bass 1 seatrout




Report:
16/6 had a wee sesion on one of the local beaches and from the off the bites were coming ,landed and returned two nice bass best at 2lb10oz and then lost a cracker of a fish,missed a couple more bites before one of the rods buckled over. this time this felt diferent as the fish gave some really good pulls and would just hold its position for a minute before running again, was praying this would'nt come off and it did'nt ,beached a lovely 3lb150z seatrout which i managed to take a terrible photo off ,again released to fight another day .with me hopefully ,missed one more fish which i think was another seatrout .much diferent bite to a bass. :D

17/6 went back to the same mark to fish in daylight this time not really expecting much,but on my first cast i was straight into a good fish which gave a great fight ,trashing its tail as it tried to break free,but that was'nt to be as i landed her on the beach ,a fine bass of 6lb14oz who swam away without a problem ,lost two more fish after that .

Well done mate, even though u got 3 fish you cant beat that for a session. well done.

nice one man 8) and just to think that a few months ago you were travelling all over the show to try and get a few tiddlers and now you have quality fishing on your doorstep :P :roll: . suddenly this is looking like a good summer after all :mrgreen:
