Etrex Legend by Garmin, it works for me.
Mind you'll need a ten year old to show you how it works. It's worse than the video recorder that sits idlely under your TV!

thanks colin will check it out. but whats a video. the thing under my tv is where my grand-children post letters to santa cheers
