Deltic, Killala, 11/June 2010

#1 Post by jd »

People: Me and 4 others

Duration: 8:30 am - 4:00 pm

Tide: Low water 11:30 am

Weather: NE Breeze, showers

Bait: Rag , Mackerel, sandeel

Rigs: Me: flowing trace

Results: Loads of mackerel! Lads were stocking up with them..Found it difficult to get through the mackerel when we moved off, they were taking my ragworm on the flowing trace- no bling. Picked up cuckoo wrasse, pollack and ballan wrasse on the drift. We anchored up in a sheltered spot for a bit more comfort, and boated 2 conger. Met "saving private brian" on the quay side, small world!
