what would be the best rigs for beach fishing any advise would be appreciated

i'd probably say a 2 hook flapper or a 2 hook clip down with kamasan b940, size 1 hooks. ive had bass, dogs, dabs flounder, ray and huss on these without a problem.

m8 suggest you get small selection of Rigs (2hook Flapper, Running Ledger, Pully Pennel, etc) and give them a try, Two things about Rigs...

1- You like using them and they don't end up in a tangle every time ye haul them in!
2 - They catch fish

Mostly use 2 hook flappers myself but noticed if I increased the bottom section to 18inches and took the snood down to max 4inches this avoided feeding the crabs...so now make me own based on what I bought to start out...with the extra length on the bottom section no more crabs... :cry: ... :mrgreen:
