Might be a typical stupid question from me but will Johnson/Evinrude/OMC cables attach onto a Yamaha engine? or is it better to get universal cables with specific ends for that engine and Johnshon/Evinrude/OMC ends for my remote control?
I want to retain the remote as its a fine piece of kit
