derry possibly

hi lads,am planning a possible trip this friday to see a good friend in derry.so he has asked me to take the rods up 2.could any1 give me info on beaches near by that could be worth a whack.do the beaches fish better at day or nite.lads am really interested in gettin a turbot or thornie as have failed down here to get 1.all pms are welcome also any possible meets r welcome too

any info is appreciated and also where i wud get bait

fahan beach or buncrana pier can be amazing for thornies, they are around a twenty minute drive from derry. culdaff can be a nice spot to fish at times aswell, thats around 30 minutes away
