doorus point co clare

It's in Co. Galway, where Kinvara Bay meets Galway Bay. Not far from Tracht beach. I wouldn't say there is a huge amount of fish activity around there I've only ever cauggt mackerel and that would usually be a bit later in the year.

Thanks for the replies it looks like it would get a good tidal rip there as kinvara bay empties out,

i have tried off parkmore pier plenty of times with little results and off the point - between the pier and doorus point - both blanks

it looks fishy - there is a huge volume of water going in and out with the tide - but others have fished it also with no joy

its just another point in galway bay that doesnt seem to produce anything
