Greystones, North Beach

#1 Post by blackwater »

People: Just me

Duration: 1000 - 1730

Tide: Rising

Weather: Bright, calm sea
Bait: Lug, Rag, Mackeral & Sandeel

Rigs: 2 Hook Bomber, 3 Hook Flapper

Results: 1 Whiting, 2 Bullheads, Loads of small Coalfish

Report:
Quiet until about two o'clock, then bites non stop until I left. Place was full of small coalfish, rod tip was rattling away pretty much all the time. All baits took fish.
Had two small Bullheads which was a nice bonus, had never caught one of these before. I know they are only small, but crazy looking fish!
