People myself/others

Duration:various

Tide:various

Weather:various

Bait:rag, crab, lug

Rigs:pennel 3/0

Results:bass, flounder, rockling, plaice

Report: 7/5 fished for about four hours, good surf but loads of weed, got one bass 64cm about seven lb and lost another about the same.
8/5 fished for five hours, good surf again but still loads of weed, couldn't see the bites with the weed, had what felt like a really good fish on for a minute but it broke off with the hooks, ended up blanking.
9/5 fished for a hour in the evening, got one flounder.
11/5 fished for about three hours, one rockling.
13/5 great surf when i got to the beach after a strong south wind, looked good but ended up with just two small schoolies and a tiny plaice.
14/5 fished for six hours at two beaches but ended up with just three small flounder.
15/5 tryed for a few flounder this evening with the rest of the bait, not even a bite.

Overall apart from the first night when i got one and lost one the fishing has been really bad this week for the amount of time i put in, hopefully it'll be better in june.
Anyone any info on what baits/rigs would be best for ray on the east coast, theres a few spots i wanna try.
