Antrim Coast Rock Mark 15/5/10

Duration:7am-11.30am

Tide:Rising tide

Weather:Overcast

Bait:Ragworm

Rigs:Sliding float rig

Results:Plenty of Pollock, Coalie and Wrasse




Report:Another wee session up the coast at one of our favourite rock marks and it treated us well again. Bites were constant all morning, kept well busy! :P Most of the fish were Coalies but we had a good mix of Pollock and Wrasse too. Biggest Coalie was around a pound, Wrasse just over a pound and a Pollock of 1 1/2 pound. Good way to spend the morning.

SPECIES 2011:= 2 species of rockling, colaie,codling whiting,pollock,gurnanrd,throback ray,grey gurnard
best fish 11 7 pound thornback ray

cracking session rab 8) float fishing with rag always stirs memories of lazy summer days and chilled out fishing 8) . great to see the wrasse starting to show up at a lot of marks again :P

Always a good sign when the Wrasse arrive, should get some decent daylight fishing from here on in. Cheers for the comments lads.
