People: Me Lee and mutt

Duration: 19.00-01.30

Tide: low @ 19.00

Weather: No wind got very cold about 12

Bait: lug.rag.mackeral,squid

Rigs: 2 hook flappers

Results: 7 flounder 1 plaice 3 codling and a whiting

Report: Lee caught the first flounder pretty soon after we had set up ...so I had to listen to him bitch on about it until around 21.00 ... when I caught my first codling. From then on vengance was sweet .... 6 flounder another codling and a whiting later, and he had to admit defeat... Which just about made up for the constant drivel about getting his name in this months sea angler with a 25lb conger ( anyone whos seen the photo knows its a photoshop touch up job :D )

Tried the salted mackeral, no bites , but then again there were no bites on the fresh stuff either one of the codling fell to salted lug ... the flounder and plaice all fell to rag tipped with squid.

Good nights craic
