Anyone try much lure fishing in galway get? i went out for the 1st time today and didnt get anything.

Tried some deep and shallow spinning for pollack with various firetails over by the lighthouse at Black Head yesterday, fished several spots over the ebb tide but not a sign of anything.

I went down tuesday evening for an hour waiting on my card game to start and got plenty of small pollock.It was just off the rocks in furbo.Nothing over 3/4 of a pound.

getting pollock out carraroe and a few marks just past spiddle over deep rocky weed areas, and out by blackhead too.. try spinning whole sandeel.. :wink:
