People: myself and 2 others

Duration: 5.30 - 11.30

Tide: high round 7/8

Weather: very mild

Bait: mac, lug, squid

Rigs: 3 hook flappers, pulleys

Results: dogs, whiting, coalie codling

Report: was very quiet in daylight - few coalies showing - going for squid - lug ignored, then first doggie on lug????

then the whiting showed some not even pins - micro whiting

had a few triple shots in between doggies - 1 codling in there

no flats or silver fellas or small smuts - which was disappointing

last cast a double of a dog barely lip hooked and a micro whiting that had taken two baits - bigger than himself

lovely day for it - never even put the coat on

well done at least the blank was avoided

have to take the positives alright - as i said though, it was a lovely evening to be out fishing
