bass fly sizes

whats the biggest fly you guys would use? is it a case of big fly big fish or would the smaller bass tackle a bigger fly as they would a smaller fly? any replies appreciated...

thanks for the reply jim... very useful and helpful site you have there... are ya hitting many bass in wexford on the fly yet?
