Beginniners Kit

Hi All,

I am thinking of getting into sea angling and was wondering what tackle I should buy for shore angling in the north wexford area. I only really want to get one outfit which could be used from beach/pier/rocks. Any suggestions on rod, reel and line greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Dab

Hello Dab,
I asked the same question when I joined the forum and basically the best advice is to go to your local tackle shop and tell them that your just starting out. They should fix you up with a rod and reel and a few rigs, weights etc.. for around 70 euro. Prehaps an Emerald Pier/Beach rod & an Okuma impact reel. :D Well its what I started with and Ive no complaints so far.
