they are almost here

#1 Post by Dick OD »

i was looking at fishing reports on "norteast.com seems they are catching cod just a half mile off the beach. Cod were almost fished to extintion but it seem they are making a slight comeback. The water is still a little cool for Striped bass, but when they come they will be big ( alot of 20 to 40 pound fish in the spring migration. As the rabi says "It won't be long now"

Husshunter,
Thats where you will find the Cod Montauk, Block Islan, up in Massachusetts. I would have to travel to get cod of any size here on western Long Island.
