will be hitting fahan beach on st paddys day for a throw, low tide will be at 13.14pm
so i'll be fishing from around 10.30 am up to the low, if anybody fancies a session call down, the more rods in the water the better.

Boko lad you could do a lot worse than go for a session with Don, if there are thornies around Fahan, he'll get them! It'll alway be another species for ya!bokofinn wrote:hello don lad , would have loved to meet up with yoy but me anh the brother heading to culdaff if your interested .

I agree, if I wasn't already doing something else that day I'd be going up to meet him for a session without a doubt.PaddyB wrote:Boko lad you could do a lot worse than go for a session with Don, if there are thornies around Fahan, he'll get them! i have another mark to take you an the wee man to this summer, best fished June/July/august i haven't fished it in a few years but the mate was back at it last year, and did very well, his best pollock from it was 6 1/2lb and best bass was 30 inches/76cm ( he had no scales with him, but i seen the pic' of it beside a tape) other species are turbot/ plaice.

Bass, you say? Wouldn't be a rocky, kelpy mark, ideal for plugging on an incommig tide, by any chance?fishermannum1 wrote:......best Bass was 30 inches/76cm
