lashed down for 40 lug at ten to six and just mace it before viking tackle closed  i must admit the lug was in great nick and nice and big ,tide was crappy but i recond greystones north might produce, the first few hours where bitless  i was just about to pack up and save my lug for sun night when my in close rod started to rattle  the next hour saw 7 codling landed and a few missed got them all in close 30 yards or so ,kept a pully out at distance with crab lug cocktail but it was commin back untouched  shame high water was so late but i had to get up early for work (lucky me) so packed up and headed home at 11.30 ,then stayed up whatching the mad weemen going head first down a mountain at 114 km per hour  and they say we are mad out fishing in that cold

fished this tonight flat calm and tough going. managed a few fish, 4 small codling and 4 coalies in very close. nothing over 20cm. distance was like fishing onto a nuclear testing site with no survivors left. masterkeane was with me and tried fish baits at distance for a doggie or anything for that matter, eventually saved the blank with a mini codling.
species for 2009 (42)
species for 2010 (27)
species for 2011 (12)
species for 2012 (8)
best advice for catching species is girls dont like fishing and its hard to catch fish when you sell all your gear'

Nice Codling. Your session showed better results than most of whats happening at some parts of the East Coast at the mo. Well done. :)
