spiddal pier 7th feb

people.. me and cousin steff..

tide .. on the rise...

bait... lefted over from saturday...

results...codling,, poor cod,, whiting,,, doggie,,,

my cousing steff came down from dublin for a session with me so we decided to fish spiddal pier,,, not to many fish but a couple of codling only about 8 inch long,, whiting also small.. stef hook into a doggie but apart from that not much action..
THATS ALL FOLKS.....
fishing my conamara mark tomorrow,, let ye know how we get on.....
SHORE SPECIES 2012... coalie,

boat species09~~~pollack,cod,haddock,whiting,doggies,bullhuss,tope,john dory,thornebsck,blonde,blue shark,spur dog,wrase,gunnard,pouting,

shore species 2010~~~ dab,flounder,thorneback ray,pollack,plaice,coalies,turbot,wrasse,bull huss, lsd...

boat trips 4 result..pouting,, spurdog.pollack,
shore trips 2010.... 36.....

wish list 2010..sea trout....

well done, was thinking about a session there this week, were you fishing during daylight or darkness?

It's that time of year all right, but even the few small ones keeps the reflexes honed for when things get better. :) And at least there are no swimmers around that mark these times. Or were there....?

dont mind the swimmers - its the 3 deep mack bashers that are the usual problem there

a dog is a fairly rare enough catch there anytime of year - well done to steff

thats quiet for that mark,its best after dark,but well done on the dog,as you said there are not to many caught there.
