Left pier, Courtown, Wexford on Saturday 30th January 2010

#1 Post by John D »

People: Me, myself and I.

Duration: 11:30 am until 02:30 pm.

Tide: I'm not too sure.

Weather: Cold. Sunny. Light breeze. Dry. Very coloured water. Calm sea.

Bait: Fresh lug.

Rigs: Small pulley rig with size 1 hook and 4 oz gripper weight.

Results: Three rockling, two codling and one coalie.

Report: I haven't fished in ages. I was down in Courtown for a family weekend trip and I was just dying to wet a line. I was also eager to show my little daughter a fish. So with all things considered - I really enjoyed myself today :)

You're a lucky father Mick - I only have one! I suppose it'll be better than sitting on a rock on my own though when I'm waiting for that 12lb bass to bite
