SAI Wreck Weekend, Union Hall 3rd and 4th July 2010

This thread is to collect the names of Club Members for a
deep water wreck fishing weekend targetting large
ling, pollock, coalie, cod, conger etc
The boat booked is the Holly Jo

Can you give an idea about cost for both days etc, know very little about the chartering experience :wink:

Hi alby,

The cost varies depending on the distance covered and hence the amount of diesel burned.
To travel 40 miles to some productive wrecks was 550 euro for the day last year. The good thing
about the catamaran is that there is loads of fishing room, so if we all use the same
diameter braid and lead weight, 8 or 10 lads can fish without tangling. If we assumed eight
lads then you are talking 137 euros for the two days for the charter. If for some
reason we dont travel as far it could be a bit less
