Mitchell challenge pro surf long beach rod

#1 Post by POC »

found some 15/16.5ft mitchell rods at what seem like very very reasonable price - £28.95. i'm looking to try a long beach rod and am wondering if these are worth a try for the money??

dont waste your money poc,
the mate also thought he was getting a bargain with them rods, so he got two.
frist thornie he hooked on one of them at app; 7lb the rod snapped
his second rod snapped while casting just a three ounce lead
personally i wouldn't touch them mate.
as ole rab c said " see me' see the sea' i love the sea me"
