it was durin the summer i was there, usually an hour or 2 before and after hw. usually had mack, lug and crab. had rag once i think. hardest thing was trying to keep the crabs off the bait

Were there any size to the codling. Any photos. I'd like to give this mark another go. I fished it a few times in the summer with no great results. Wouldn't mind trying it for the winter species. I reckon it would be more relaxing during the winter with alot less marine activity restricting casts. It's pretty potinless chucking out your best rigs and bait when it lands in a passing yaught.
