Great report Paula, i really enjoyed reading all about you and K2's adventures with Al and Jordan  . Just what the doctor ordered with the rest of us stuck indoors over the last while.Al and Jordan are the salt of the earth, really enthusiastic and great company to have. Decent fish are like hens teeth lately so its great to see the photos. Well thats enough back slapping for the time being, so until the next report, take care and happy belated birthday

The cold weather did make the fishing alot harder but you just have to get on with it. If you worried about the weather in this country and you let it put you off fishing you'd never be out!
I wouldn't mind fishing in Cork sometime, it's somewhere I've never been and would love to try for the Bass there. Maybe even plugging for them, that would be good. Perhaps I'll bump into you sometime when I'm down there.

It's well worth making a trip down - I know of one or two marks that are very good for lure fishing (provided the weather conditions are suitable) - very good chance of getting a few bass at those. If you are heading this way sometime send me a PM.

Thanks Jonny :D I didn't get weighing it which is a pity:( Al's scales didn't work when we tried them. Someone reckoned his was approx. 3lb and I had guessed mine at 5lb, what do you reckon? It's quite a fat fish  Is that an accurate guess - 5lb or could it be bigger? :D
I'm not great at estimating weights so anyone's suggestions are welcome.
