i was out on the 23rd and got 2 fairly small flounder on the first 2 casts and nothing else but frozen feet for the next 3 hours. it was 3 weeks before that when i was out again
hoping to get a few hours in again on thursday and ive my 1st ever comp sunday morning so wish me luck

Havnt been out since the Liffey challange on the 27th of December, but im working hard getting brownie points up good luck with the comp Red, most important thing is enjoy it.

oh dont i know well, i was brought up on them i remember the cold frosty nights with my da down the back of the east catching eaters 3 at a time the best one i ever seen my da get was just over 18.5inches have an old photo somewhere.

The ice is too bad down my way to get to any mark. I've the world of rigs tied and ready to go but that's not much good if i can't get to the sea. Today is the worst i've seen the roads yet so sad to say it'll be a while yet before i get to wet the lines. All the fancy gear i got over christmas is just sittin in the corner of my room making it even worse. Tying rigs is a good thing to keep the hands busy when you're tryin to give up the ciggys though.

Tight lines if ya can get to the water i suppose

Cracking up, haven't been out since the 28th of Dec like evan699 said i have enough rigs tied for about the next 2 years got a new rod the other day and am itching to use it,,,, well have to go, back to tying rigs also have to build up the Brownie points at home as well
