Winter cod on the East coast???

We will have our boat on the water over the coming winter. Are cod a realistic prospect from the boat during the winter? Our area is from Howth to Greystones.
What else is worth targeting from November through to March from the boat?

You should get cod from the cod bank out from Greystones
