What reel should i buy?

I have narrowed it down to two reels

Daiwa sl30sh
Daiwa Millionaire 7TH

Which one is the better choice?

Both are good reels depending on what you use them for. The 7Ht is a clean beach 15lb reel and the sl30 is rough ground 30lb line reel.

Theres also the sl20 for 20lb line which has less capacity than the sl30. The Sl30 needs a big hand to hold onto it. I can only cast the thing reel low. I have not used the sl20 but it has an excellent reputation for getting distance with 20lb line.

Completely agree with Donagh re the size of the sl30. Ive used a sl20 for years for heavy shore fishing and 12lb class boat work and couldn't recommend it enough. I also cast it a measured 224yrds in a tournament so it`s more than distance capable.

roger that guys...

My only concern now is the fastening of the reel onto the rod...
I have the traditionall reelfasterners on my rod, will it still work with one of the sloshes?
