There's so many of the damn things!

Would someone recommend a resonably priced rod & reel.

I'm a beginner, will not get the chance to fish too often

and don't want to get ripped off, oh and casting from the beach

Cheers guys (and girls - are there any?)

Plenty good enough to begin with. If you are new to casting, might be better with the fixed spool reel.
