is it cruel or not?
and i admit its not the best way to catch the fish, but isnt it fishing in some sence,
no no not at all ill still be out fishing and shooting both will reflect in killing animals but like it or not its the nature of our sport,JOHN1 wrote:i can see you taking up casting over grassdbrock wrote:what is sportmanlike angling ?, either way you look at it its a cruel sport, every day i come on here there is a story were we are trying to say were better than them, wether it preaching c&r, or the fish was breeding stock and so on and on , no matter what way we look at it sticking hooks into fish,

its probably something like fishing for the likes of tope using single barbless hooks on 50lb mono snoods instead of 8/0 barbed pennels on 200lb mono or wire.dbrock wrote:no no not at all ill still be out fishing and shooting both will reflect in killing animals but like it or not its the nature of our sport,JOHN1 wrote:i can see you taking up casting over grassdbrock wrote:what is sportmanlike angling ?, either way you look at it its a cruel sport, every day i come on here there is a story were we are trying to say were better than them, wether it preaching c&r, or the fish was breeding stock and so on and on , no matter what way we look at it sticking hooks into fish,

Well depends on how they feel about the lead being used. It might pollute! We could all end up hugging trees in a field. On a good note they might shaft FF and NAMA.dbrock wrote:You could be right there d fella, then we will all be casting in the field
So your telling me that you see nothing wrong in pointlessly killing an animal that is listed on the IUCN as vulnerable? There is a huge difference between killing an apex predator such as this shark and a mackeral. Fishing is fishing - but this here isn't fishing. It's mindless and pointless slaughter of an increasing rare animaldbrock wrote:what is sportmanlike angling ?, either way you look at it its a cruel sport, every day i come on here there is a story were we are trying to say were better than them, wether it preaching c&r, or the fish was breeding stock and so on and on , no matter what way we look at it sticking hooks into fish,
