#1 Post by andyfish »

People:Andy Dermo Senan and Sean

Duration:9.30 - 2

Tide:Everywhere

Weather:Windy

Bait:Macks

Rigs:Ledgers

Results:Tope , Macks

Report:Headed out of Dunlaoghaire about 9.30am it was flat calm .Stopped at the end of the pier to try for a few macks got none stopped at the back of bullock and blanked again .Headed for bray head and got 8 macks after about two hours , was running out of time so headed for the tope mark .Lobbed in half a mack and got a run after about 10 mins ,the fish took of like Usain bolt after about a ten min battle i got her in the boat, it was a nice fish didnt have a scales to weigh it .20 mins later got another run didnt feel as big as the first, but it gave a few nice runs ,got it to the boat ,grabbed the trace and the hook came out .had another run that was dropped . The wind got up and the sea got rough so headed for home it was a good day . Id like to thank Denis for the mark and the tackle advice
