poolbeg 12/08/09

People: Meself, masterkeane, Eefs and mate John

time: 21:00-23:30

Tide: low at 9pm

weather: windy, then light breeze ,dry

Rigs: pulleys, 1 up 1 down, running ledger and float..

Bait: Rag, lug, squid, crab and spanish mackerel(crap)

Results: nothing but crabs.... and ,..er... a small great white.. :roll:

Report:
I'd said to John aka Masterkeane, that i'd try help him find a bass,as he';s new to the site, bang on chap, great to meet other eastcoast fishermen, and I was on a mission to get a smut, so decided to chance Dublin Bay as the reports have been fairly good lately... I'm beginning to think it's a rubber fish the lads bring along and just pass it around to take pics with it.. :lol: Nothing Biting whatsoever. Had rods at every distance, and different baits. But no doggies even. Just masses of crabs and ganky seaweed that my mate described as like ' rooting thru a dirty nappy' tryin to get it off your rig.. :lol: :lol: :lol:

we eventually admitted defeat bout 23:30..
So I decided to 'arrange' my own dublin bay photo- here is me with a small great white shark I took off the poolbeg... :D

if it wasn't bad enough with the photo shopped picture alone, even the shark himself seems to be just a dummy :lol:
pity about the crabs, I'd suggest you go and see your GP :P

real shark pic, he was an underwater one.. them;s the rarest type , don;t ya know/? :P

spanish / indian frozen mackerel :lol: not the best mackerel ive used he he .............. some fight off that shark though thank god there was 3 of us lads there to pull him in :lol:
