Report:just back from a holiday in wexford fished clones strand. kilgorman.kilpatrick.kilmicheal point clogga strand
the weather was brutal but got a good bit of fishing in iv never seen so much weed also with all the rain the river on clone
was gushing chocolate water it was filthy. went to kil patrick plenty of weed bringing the lines back on to the beach 1 dog
to show for 5 hrs. kilmicheal was rougher loads of weed and a slippy climbdown.again 2 doggies i was sure we would see
a bass with good surf running but none for the forthnight back to my boat me thinks

There seems to be a lot of weed everywhere at least you got the dogs & flounder.

4 fish for two weeks ??? not a good return on 100 euros on baits also forgot to mention when we where in kilmicheal inthe
first cove to the left there was 9 seals all together in the water never seen so many together

That's not great - the weed is a killer alright - and I guess all those seals didn't help either.
Better luck next time.

they are fond of bass and flounder too
