Borough SAC Trip to Norway

A number of members of the Borough went to Northern Norway ( Kolken Sjohos) on 1st June for a weeks boat fishing.

Fishing for first few days was slow but improved dramatically.

Results as follows:

Tuesday: 17 fish including Cod, Torsk and Wolf Fish
Wednesday: 8 fish caught including a cod of 16lb and 18lb.
Thursday: 21 fish including cod, wolf fish and dab
Friday: Bob Reynolds 15 cod ( to 16lb) & 1 wolf fish, Martin Corr 12 lb to 23kg, Tom Butler 21 cod to 14kg, Trevor Bennett 22 cod to 11kg, Robbie Reynolds to 7kg
Saturday: Martin Corr 8 cod to 9.5kg, Tevor Bennett 17 cod to 14kg & lost a big halibut, Bob Reynolds 1 torsk & 1 cod, Tom Butler 21 cod to 5 kg,
Sunday: went halibut fishing. Robbie Reynolds 8 cod, Tom Butler 6 cod, Trevor Bennet 5 cod to 13kg,

Weather was very cold and at times there was snow and hailstones.

Unfortunately, I could not make the trip but might do so next year.
