Bass bug but where to start??

#1 Post by Tommy B »

Hi all I have been reading this form for the last three years and seen all the great reports on bass fishing. I would love to give it a serious go. I'm from the south of Dublin and have started a bit of sea fishing again lately (been doing a lot of piking). I was out the other day at a very well known spot for fishing (but not bass) and using a deep diving lure. I was followed up by about 5 bass all at once when the lure was floating back up. I couldn't twitch as I was to near the weed so they didn't attack it. Great to see though and especially in this spot.
I also got myself a pair of chest waders and boots for the piking but I might as well make use of them in the summer and target the bass. The problem is I haven't a snowballs where to go. I really would appreciate a heads up (PM) on where to start "anywhere" as I could waste a lot of petrol driving down south but would love to go if I knew where. Maybe there is some good spots even nearer. Thanks in advance Tommy!!

Know how you feel have been trying a while my self with no luck. Any chance of hitting me up if you find any decent spots ? And I'm heading Killiney tomorrow with a friend of mine so if we have any luck I'll let you know .
