Results:TWO SMALL FLOUNDERS OUT OF 50 ANGLERS


Report:EVIDENCE OF A POLLUTION SPILL INTO THE SEA WERE THE COMPETITION WAS HELD WAS GATHERED FOR ANALISIS EG, DEAD SANDEELS AND FLATFISH FOUND AT THE MOUTH OF A RIVER CULVERT IN THE CENTER OF THE VENUE, RETURNS ARE NORMALLY BETTER AT THIS ANNUAL COMP IT IS A VERY WRRYING DEVELOPMENT THAT REQUIRES INVESTIGATION

Thank God for that - thought it was just us! Nice to know there was a reason for the fishing being so poor.

The really worrying thing about it though is that every time there is a spillage of some sort or another, it gets investigated and nobody ever hears what the final outcome was. Why are those responsible not named and shamed? Might be a bigger deterrent than the pocket money fines they get.

It is a red fungus that comes in with the tide. It kills all shellfish and some fish as well. (I believe it is manifest when there is a lot of hot weather)
If the tide kills off the food chain some of the fish are going to die
