Lynemouth beach
I was undecide on going today, but i was more or less told by Kath to go fishing
I went with my usual fishing partners, Kev (The Assassin) and Steve (capt'n)
We had blow lug and rag worm for bait.
Fishing from 12pm until 5pm
Sea condition, calm
The first thing we done when we got to the beach was to put the storm brolly up,keep the wind off us.
Tackle up then away we went.
Not much to tell about the session, it was a very quiet day.
It was about 1.5 hours into the session when the first bite came, Steve seemed to take a little jump towards his rod, then gave a moan about missing it.
It continued like that throughout the day
But lo and behold Steve's rod tip gave a little bounce, yes he said FISH ON, he beached a small flat fish.
The sight of the fish gave us hope.
More was to follow, Kev beached a small BASS,
And Steve beached two small BASS, all the fish were safely returned to the water
Steve and myself decided to go beachcombing, walk the length of the beach up to the beck, then back to the brolly, i went under the brolly for a cuppa, Kev and Steve went walkabout,
When they came back it was decided to call it a day
Scores for the day
Steve 2 bass and one flat fish
Kev one bass
Me= blanked
The wind made it seem colder than it was John
Nothing for the score sheet Phil
