People:myself,martin,dave and joe

Duration:3hrs

Tide:rise

Weather:great

Bait:mack

Rigs:steel pulleys 8/0

Results:5 tope




Report:got a call from martin that there were a good chance of tope
from the shore ,so straight for the shed and out with the steel and headed off
got to the location [forgot the name already] and set up ,
dogs straight away for the first few casts and then that great sound of the rachet
i had the first tope at 30lbs what a great fight so fish back in the water and next min dave had his first fish about 13lbs next in myself with a lot livelyer fish 33lbs
martin got a good run but droped him a few cast later i droped another fish then joe had a run but droped him .
just as i taught they had gone martin was in to a good fish and landed him 29lbs
a few cast with the dogs about daves rachet went off this fish was takeing line at
high speed after a few min landed a good fish of 30lbs that was hooked by the tail
best night fishing ever heading out for round two

some great fishing lads, one of my dreams is to get a good tope from the shore, one tip though is to support the tope underbelly with your arm as its better for them
