8hp \ 10hp Long Shaft Outboard Engine

Hi Folks,

We are looking to buy a 8hp \ 10hp Long Shaft Outboard Engine in the coming weeks and the preference is to buy a new or nearly new engine.
Not knowing anything in this area I am hoping you can advise on what you reckon might be the better engines.

The engine is going on to a small boat in Dun Laoighre and will be used for the odd fishing trip in and out of the pier.

We are looking at the following:
Honda BF8\ BF10
Mercury equivalent
Mariner equivalent

Any comments on the above or any other small 8\10 hp engine are much appreciated.
Any idea's also on where to purchase also, I am based in Greystones area.
