Rising Tide - BBC 1 NI

#1 Post by JGF »

Anyone get to watch the first part of Rising Tide last Tuesday night? Interesting viewing - follows trawlermen based in Kilkeel. Showed one of the largest trawlers in Europe skippered by a Kilkeel local - headed out to trawl for large mackerel. Massive ship!

Rising Tide
Tue 26 Jul, 10:35 pm - 11:15 pm 40mins

Second in a three part documentary series. The town of Kilkeel is stunned when a small fishing boat goes missing in the Irish Sea, and a desperate search begins for the young men lost at sea.
Entries now open for the Henry's Tackle Shop All Ireland Shore Smooth Hound Championships on July 18h hosted by Sea Angling Ireland SAC

Yes its a very good show although it is on its second showing now. If I remember correctly there may be more than 3 episodes more like 4-6

It is worth watching if you are in any way interested in sea angling
