I head to wicklow pier on Sunday morning, the water was like a mirror, even the doggies were quiet only had one. But managed to catch my first Gurnard using a running pater noster rig with a squid and mackerel bait.

Sand eels where plentyful chasing the fry around the pier. so tried a bit of spinning, to no avail.

Hi Swordfish,

Its a shame that anglers dump so much litter at the end of Wicklow Pier. Its just giving angler's a bad name.
